Review - Soap & Glory: sugar crush body scrub

Along with a few other lovely treats this Christmas, I received this gorgeous sugar scrub from Soap & Glory. After trying and falling in love with the flake away body scrub last year I decided to add the sugar crush body scrub to my Christmas list to try out a new scrub product from the same brand, and I was certainly not disappointed. 

I’m a right sucker for cute packaging and this product defiantly ticks that box even if I didn't like the product then I wouldn't mind because its so nice to look at... anyways moving on. 

I’m aware that it should have been obvious from looking at and reading the packaging but I didn't realise that this product was so limey and I did expect it to smell sweet. I guess because it's called sugar crush? But it smells very citrusy which I don't mind its lovely non the less but if you not a fan of citrus smells then this is probably a no go unfortunately. 

The inside looks a bit like mushed kiwi with bits of sugar mixed in - I know yummy right mmm. The texture of this scrub is a really nice consistency because it’s not too gritty that it hurts you but it feels like its doing it's job. It’s just so lovely to use and your skin feels amazing and full of moisture afterwards, plus it leaves the lovely fresh sent on your skin. It must be good because my boyfriend even nabbed some.

I’ve been using this tub for a few weeks now and I’ve hardly made a dent in it so hopefully I will get a good few months’ use from it. I would definitely re purchase it but I think next time I will give another S&G scrub a go. Soap & Glory are fast becoming my favourite brand for scrubs at the moment.

Hello, its nice to meet you.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Mel (here is a picture of me with an owl hat on) 

I’ve never really been too good at writing about myself but ill give it a shot and hopefully it'll work out. I’m 19, from the North East and an illustration student, so basically I draw pictures a lot! I like owls (I have 3 owl hats) I love lots of different music styles, i like animals, Children's story books and basically anything cute. People often say that I’m a lot like jess from new girl. I'm okay with that because i think she's pretty cool. If you have no clue who I’m referring to then you may have been living under a rock for a while, but you should watch it and you'll soon understand.

Anyways I decided to make a blog this year because i began a blog for university and I’m really enjoying it. I thought it would be fun to create a blog featuring my own interests. My hope for this blog (fingers crossed) is that I will be able to successfully combine my love for drawing, makeup, my slightly weird fashion sense if that’s what you'd call it and the odd lifestyle post thrown into the mix. I have no clue if this will work but hopefully it will and hopefully people will like it
